Treat Cavities
Composite & Amalgam Fillings
We offer both composite and amalgam fillings for cavities. Composite fillings are our preferred method of restoring decayed teeth, due to their natural appearance, durability, and their ability to be placed effectively while removing minimal enamel from your tooth. However, amalgam fillings may also be an effective option for some patients. To find out what type of filling will best suit your needs, come in for a consultation and one of our doctors will gladly provide you with their advice.
Save Infected Teeth
Anterior & Posterior Root Canals
Root canal therapy is the best way to restore infected teeth. If your tooth has a large cavity or is broken by trauma, the vulnerable pulp inside the tooth can become infected by oral bacteria. If left untreated, it will eventually die and require replacement. Root canal therapy is used to open up a hole in the tooth and remove the infected material, disinfect the tooth, and restore it with a filling or crown. We offer both anterior (front teeth) and posterior (rear teeth) root canals at Twenty28 Dentistry.
Repair Damaged Teeth
Lab-Made Dental Crowns
A dental crown is, essentially, a false tooth that fits over a damaged tooth after it has been trimmed. Crowns are designed to cover up your remaining enamel all the way down to the gum line. This protects your remaining enamel, and restores the shape, size, and function of your tooth. We use high-quality, custom lab-made porcelain crowns for the best results.
Replace Missing Teeth
Full & Partial Dentures
Partial dentures are a good short-term option for restoring your smile if you’ve lost multiple teeth. They attach to your remaining healthy teeth, replacing one or more missing teeth.
Full dentures are a better option if you have already lost most or all of your teeth. They are designed to fit perfectly over your gums once your teeth have been removed, restoring your entire smile.
However, implants are a better option compared to partial and full dentures, as they last longer, support your jaw health, and offer a more natural appearance. They also require less maintenance. Contact our team to discuss your options for replacing missing teeth, including dentures and implants.
Remove Troublesome Teeth
Basic & Wisdom Tooth Extractions
We offer both basic, non-surgical extractions and wisdom teeth extractions. Whether your wisdom teeth are erupting incorrectly or you have a tooth that is too damaged to save, we can extract it and help you understand your options for restoring your smile. We specialize in pain-free, gentle extractions in Pasadena and Altadena.
Your Smile is in Your Hands
Avoid Issues with Proactive Care
Proper oral hygiene is crucial for preventing tooth decay and gum disease. It is important to brush and floss properly, and come to our office every six months for a check-up and cleaning.
If you play contact sports or grind your teeth at night, you may want to consider getting a custom night guard to prevent damage and premature wear. Taking a proactive approach to your oral hygiene routine will safeguard your smile from preventable damage and decay.
